Where will we fly ?
We take off from the designated Ballooning Airport controlled by the Luxor International Airport Authority on the West Bank of Luxor near the temple of Queen Hatshepsut.
What does it feel like during the flight ?
Once aloft you will not notice turbulence or wind as you become one with the air currents. The basket hangs motionless in the air-mass in which it is suspended. In the calm conditions in which we fly there is nothing that can make the basket sway and the sense of movement is much more subtle than an elevator ride.
Do passengers sit or stand during the flight ?
Passengers normally stand in the basket during flights, however we can accommodate those passengers who need to be seated.
Where do we land ?
On the East Bank of Luxor.
What should I wear ?
Please dress casually - jeans and flat heeled shoes. Although we usually land close to a road, you may be walking through fields. It is no colder in the balloon than on the ground, yet you may wish to bring a light jacket. Layered clothing is best.
HOW MANY PASSENGERS ARE THERE IN THE BALLOON?
The most commonly used balloons carry a maximum of 28 passengers.

- Ladies more than 3 months pregnant
- Children less than 5 years of age
- Anyone more than 70 years of age
- Serious heart problems or any other medical conditions will not be suitable for thistrip
- Anyone who had major surgery recently within the last 6 months
- Anyone that has had a broken leg/arm
- Anyone who suffers from chronic back or neck pain or injuries
- Anyone that has a Phobia in height
- Disabilities covering mental health and emotional / Physical disabilities
- Also all passengers should sign the declaration that he/ she doesn’t have the above problems (Mandatory)
VISITORS TO Luxor
- If you are staying in a hotel, kindly provide us with your hotel name, room number and contact number as we need to call you for the exact pick up time.
- If we call and are unable to reach you, we will leave a written message with the reception operator, to be delivered to your room.

PLEASE NOTE
- It is an early morning flight.
- Wear comfortable clothing, as you will be climbing in and out of the basket.
- You should be able to climb in and out of the basket and stand unaided for at leastone hour.
- If you are late you will be left behind and you will be charged in full as a no-show.
